Oh, I see what's your point. I'll wait your build then
In the meantime, I went on and extracted system.ext2 file content. Got a very similar folder structure to the old GBX0A CWM build created for X1 . But it lacks META-INF folder and contents. How to get this part right?
Sorry for hijacking the thread, if you think I should make a new one, just tell me!

You should use META-INF from another build to make things simpler
Using GBX0A cwm version zip as a template , I swapped system folder in it with the GBX0B folder extracted from the ext2 file pack you linked few posts above.
To my surprise, just using kernel image you linked with this "quick and dirty" swapped CWM version ", the system booted!!!
Obviously the screen was upside down (libsurfaceflinger issue I think, any good one for GB around? Can I use the one from froyo? ) , but the system seems very very fast...
Camera seems not working, wifi gives error as soon as turned on, I do not try BT (nothing to pair with atm ), another BIG issue is that the phone is COMPLETELY unable to make sounds, both system sounds and music /app sounds.
But phone can call and receive, and while call is active I can hear it (after having to turn on/off the speakervoice while calling, otherwise it was mute and deaf )
On the bright side, no sign of the sounds from speaker that are present while using less recent kernel

I hope this little report can be useful
Audio will be fixed in next bundle..
I'm having a bit of troubles in making an update.zip, looks like my cwm is bugged, since i get no error code
I tried to mix and match files from GBX0A and GBX0B , trying to fix upside down issue...but I was not able to , after I swapped libsurfaceflinger.so from one to the other, the system did not boot...
Also, Wifi is the other issue...since android without wifi is useless for me... (GBX0A installed made rom reboot as soon as I turn wifi on first time after installing...then it reboots endlessly every few seconds...)
So I think I will wait for your release...I tried and it was fun, but I am surely not experienced enough to think to use the source and build something

Hi, helicopter88! If you have something new to test I'm looking forward to do it
I'v tried the GBX0B as is (just your kernel and modules from the post one page before, all other staff - initrd, rootfs, system.ext2 - from that bundle, startup.txt - left previous, that worked good with your kernels).
The same issues - upside down screen after GUI booting. The touch screen itself is not upside down, but the image is (so to push some button I have to virtually mirror the image and guess where to tap ) Tried playing with parameters in startup.txt (setting fbcon=rotate:0 instead of rotate:2 and(or) ro.sf.hwrotation=0 instead of ro.sf.hwrotation=180) - nothing seems to change.
The second issue is WiFi - it just doesn't turn on writing Error. But no reboots in my case.
Other staff untested, because of screen mirror issue ))

Normal,is going to be fixed with next bundle, wich should come in 2 days(tomorrow won't be here)
Given the amount of coverage that Android receives around here, you could almost be … more
