So if you are new to XDA, and forums, what is the rules for PMing people? Sometimes i PM people so i don't clutter up their thread with stupid questions. Is this considered alright?

PMing is always the best rule of thumb. bringing up old threads or cluttering threads is the last resort...I'm not new to internet forums...haha

I too need to get to 10 posts; but it's because I was able to find everything I needed in the past through lurking, searching, googling, and PMing. I joined XDA in 2011 (but have been coming here since earlier), and it's pretty interesting to think that I haven't needed to post. I admire the work done and shared here, and I wish I had the knowledge that the devs in the Android community have. I've started only recently learning to develop apps, so I figured I should be getting my post count >10.

Its not only the 10 posts rule but also for those who do search the forums...we find a lot of threads with the same question resulting into a total waste of time...
