I think it is possible already... If you use tasker, you can set a Profile to make the lights flicker.
It's in Alert > Set Light under the actions area. Though you will have to do some scripting yourself like:
Profile: When there is Message Recieved + Phone is Silent
Actions:
1. Set Light = 1
2. Wait = 50ms
3. Set Light = 0
4. Wait = 50ms
5. Set Light = 1
6. Wait = 50ms
7. Set Light = 0
etc...
Or is it something else that BLN needs that I dont know about?
You're right in the way that it could be done, but, BLN is an app which controls the leds and the support code should be built into the kernel. I think that's what's everyone's asking about.

knzo and DooMLoRD for letting me know this patch for overclocking upto 1.2 GHz (original work by Bill Varney)
xda_bam's kernel sources for voltage levels at 1.2GHz bin
For mi: video dont work in stock player, youtube cant load the video, quadrant said internal eror,i use UC-KERNEL-v08-OC on stock KPQ with smartassv2 and i/o:sio
P.S All other work fine, maybe the hardware acceleration for video is of
Wow...! Finally u guys have done it. Just a small querry. That what frequency range are there in this OC kernel?
Edit: tried oc version. And yes problem with vdo & audio. But I must tell u guys @ 1.2 ghz phone is super duper fast. Also I saw that one more frequency range is added i.e. 200 mhz. So now total freuency range are like this
200 mhz
300 mhz
600 mhz
800 mhz
1200 mhz
It would be great if u guys manage to add one more frequency range I.e 1000 mhz so it will eliminate need of providing two saperate kernel i.e OC & non OC.
Because many people concern about battery & they will want 200 mhz range also with max only 1 ghz range.
Using v7 NON OC on DDKP2,
I am getting video & sound out of sync after I flashed this kernel, without this it was working fine.
CAR BLUETOOTH is buggy on all GB roms
Samsung galaxy i9003, GB 2.3.6, DDLF2+Bam Kernel which partly fixes car blue tooth bug but on every BT connection it ask permission to access phonebook, if given access it hangs.

Re-run quadrant. It happened with me too. Dont know the reason.
And use performance governor if you want to do benchmark testing.

if you want to support my work buy me a beer/coffee
Its confirmed that when i set a profile in set cpu like following then phone goes in deeeeeeeep sleep mode (means screen not waken up but also not even touch button glows). Phone acts like complete dead. I have to restart phone.
I dont given imp to benchmark so i have not tested it.
