Default Since batteries don't last forever, has anyone had their battery replaced?

Has anyone had their battery replaced? How much did it cost?

I bought one from eBay and it workes great and increased my battery time with over 2 hours...
Wasn't hard at all to replace once you got the tab opened.

Replacement batteries for the Tab are running around $55 on ebay and you can change it out yourself by following the pictures on iFixit:

I'm not sure if it makes any difference if you reset battery stats in CWM (assuming you have that installed).

Now to update from my change of batterie its just amazing how much better the new ones are. It really made my tab work even 2 days between charges! And I'm a really heavy user!

Then again, maybe its just how good Boca is for batteries ...

I got a battery issues too with Galaxy Tab 7. But after using the ROM on this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1409469 everything becomes fine. Before, my TAB shuts down even I got 50% or more battery.

But now, I can use it even if I have 10% or less battery. The best part is it only consumes 1% of battery on standby for more than 9 hours.
