I dont understand why it happens either. Did Bertans Leandroid work for either of you?
It seems to work for some, but not others.

What recovery did you use to flash the Rom? I used the 3.0 version that came in rom manager to flash my phone and it seems the successful flashes have been done with that recovery.
Only thing I can suggest is that I can try make a build with framework, wifi etc moved back to the correct directory and upload it. I can't test it though.

Ok. New version in downloads section on first post. I cant test it, but it should boot and work hopefully. Everything is moved back into /system directory. If anyone is game to try it, please let us know how it goes.

Cheers, Paul

I tried with both 3.0 and 5.0.27 CWM ... same result: wifi not working.
In the ROM LeandroidMOD v.3 the wifi works, but in v.5 and v.6 does not work
With the "old" Leandroid 11.10.2 wifi working properly.
Personally I do not know how to change the framework ..

Bye

i installed using aorth's clockwork mod recovery 5.0.2.7 and the latest test build is working perfectly , wifi is also working without any issues ,
the previous build whereas didnt booted up ,

its a gr8 effort mate , you bringing the best tweaks in a leanest fashion
i would like to see a % battery indicator , Custom Power options like in cynogen mod , and the notification bar tweaks of cynogen if all these tweaks implemented in the final version , this rom will be the fastest and the most reliable.

Thanks again for your time!

PS: I used CWM 5.0.27 and everything went well

It now works with new "test" version. Before that I was using latest LEANDroid version just fine with Wi-Fi, so the issue is probably in the directory path.

There may be something scripted that Bertans did, but I am not sure what it would be. I just symlinked all the relevant directories in the install script and it worked fine for me.
It is doubly confusing that leandroid worked where version 5 didn't as it was just tweaks on top of leandroid. Oh well, such is the mystery of life. Glad the test is getting things working for people.
Eddyi: Market is not unlocked, I dont know how to do that. Also what are the cyanogenmod taskbar tweaks you mention? I can theme the rom using the uot kitchen now that everything is back in the default system directory, so battery indicator is possible. If anyone can tell me how to implement the extended menu, we can build that in too.

Tabatj: thanks for testing and being willing to stick with it.
