On setup of Dolphin, you can choose user agent.
Problem solved :)

Way easier, true. But many people, like myself, really like the hardware accelerated stock browser. Last I checked, Dolphin wasn't hardware accelerated?
For those who had issues building a working Browser.apk
I have been writing a bit back and forth with a guy on Google+, who had similar issues with building. We couldn't find anything wrong with neither software nor methodology, but when he downloaded APK Manager ver. 5.0 everything worked fine.
Of course, that still doesn't explain why everything works for me with APK Manager 4.9 HC Edition, but I've been modding for froyo, gingerbread and now honeycomb, as well as publishing a few themes on Android Market, so I may have different settings somewhere without being conscious of it
Edit: For instance, I've got the Java SE Development Kit 7 installed. Might make a difference. The again, if apk manager 5+ is working for you out of the box so to speak, it might not.
Hi Hooolm, i am first time trying to mod the browser.apk. i am using overcome 2.2 and browser.apk from this ROM.
i am always getting below error after executing 9-decompile apk.
i have tried with apkmanager 4.9, 4.9HC, 5.0.1 and 5.0.2 (in windows 7 32-bit, jdk 1.6.0_17) all gave the same error. any idea how to proceed further?
