Just bought your app in anticipation of some tags I ordered and I was wondering if there was any chance of supporting the Profile app https://market.android.com/details?i...imjosh.profile to save me reprogramming another app for my different profiles?

Do you have any idea why my NFC isn't working?

I think Wallet is working fine though (last I tried was 1/4/2012)... just the tags and NFC itself doesn't read/write.

Maybe, I'll have to look into the app itself and see what kind of integration features it allows.

I want to create a Profile Tag, the first task should launch the navigation and the second task should launch an activity to go back to the homescreen. Is there a "Custom Task" to launch the homescreen?

Stupid question: Does this work in sleep/standby mode?


I have a Verizon Galaxy Nexus and the tags works great when the phone is awake when the screen is on. Once the screen is off, nothing works. Was hoping to use this without unlocking the phone everytime.

Also I watch the youtube car dock demo in the OP. Hitting the power button makes the phone read the tag right away. My phone requires a pin number to unlock due to being a business phone. Which makes it more annoying to wake up the phone for this.

That's because the video was made a while ago on Gingerbread. As of ICS the phone now needs to be unlocked before the NFC service starts. In Gingerbread it would start as soon as the screen was on, you didn't need to unlock the device.

Now that I have some tags I'm able to play around more with the app. Just need to start sticking them in the places I need them.

Will it be possible at some point amend tasks and possibly re-order them within saved tags?

Also, how about custom notification icons so you can see at a glance which profile is currently loaded. I know, I'm too lazy to pull down on the notification bar

Is there any way to complete disable sound notifications for NFC scans?

Edit: Also I have some other questions since playing with the paid version some more.

1. when launching task to configure wifi and credentials to my home wifi it never connects stating authentication problem. I am using WPA2 Personal with a linksys router. If I re-enter the pw and it works fine.

2. I also wanted to create a NFC tag that would automatically configure wifi for any guest that come over. Is there a requirement that they have the app installed as well?
