Nandroids are much like Condoms, when you have to use them they are an irritant, but its better to be safe than sorry.

no worries, once installed update to latest hardcore kernel as this restores backup facility, when rom was released only his test kernel was avaliable, but thats only if youre not going to choose other kernels i.e cf or abyss

Hi just wanted to let you know that I entered into a bootloop from an XXLA4 CF Kernel & Stock ROM. Did a battery pull and wipe & rebooted fine & continued on with step two of checking vibration etc. Just finished flashing. Will post my results later. Cheers!
Dumbphones => T-Mobile Dash => LG Dare => iPhone => iPhone 3G => OG Droid => Droid X => Galaxy Note => Galaxy Note 2

Don't forget to update it with the latest speedmod kernel from hardcore

Thanks, but after flash I was still encountering a lot of stuttering from my LauncherPro Plus launcher, so I reverted back to stock LA4.

Would the speedmod kernel have helped that?
