if you know which rom has the logo you want, just flash that rom and then nandroid restoring back to the rom you're on currently. that's how i do it to get the logo i want. i'm currently on wiui but with the logo from barebones cm7, the orange small M at the left with the word motorola on the right

btw, can you tell me which rom has the pumping red M. i'm interested too

edit: alternatively, don't know if it works for animated logo, if you have a nandroid backup of a rom with the animated logo, try advanced nandroid restore the logo.img from that.

I was stock tim 2.3.6 and restored system only 3.0 NG Preview. it was working nice.

i restored 3.0NG RC system only and stuck on defy animation. what can i do?

wipe cache ? or data..

wiped cache, data, factory.

but factory by cwm doesn't work and keys power + X + @ doesn't work too (stuck on triangle). did keys change?

you people dont help ( . any ways i've somehow managed to get it working . now the problems that ive till now seen is that 'com.motorola.inputentry' was force closing .and the ringtone kept playing when i put the phone in sound mode .
