I downloaded boot animation installer on the market and tried various animations from there - some work and some dont... I've yet to find if there's any common value between the ones that don't play fully and the ones that do, but if I do, I'll share

I didn't do a wipe. I did a backup, though, just in case it didn't work. It works fine on my phone. I'm running GSB 4.4 also. It's a little slow but the speeds right up to normal within a few seconds. I'm not sure why some people are having trouble with this, but for me at least it worked perfectly.

Just a suggestion, I've found that Rom Toolbox from JRummy contains ICS animation, however, it is just called differently 'Stock-Galaxy Nexus'. Furthermore, there are more boot animations to consider revising there.

Hope this helped

ROM Toolbox is a great app - loads of features! Thanks for that!

That ICS animation doesn't work either though lol - found a cool grey CM7 one in there though, that'll do (I just don't like having the 'stock' animation lol)

Thanks again

(any more help/suggestions welcome )
