i. i just flashed Android Revolution HD 6.2.1 XE and try to do that "O/C Daemon" setting. but there is no file under system/etc/virtuous_oc ???? so how to edit that
The kernel in 6.2.1 has no option for settings. It's fixed 1.2 or 1.5 GHz max. So no use for OC-settings.
is there a way to extract the native mail app from 3.6.x rom and install on the 6.2.1 rom - is it possible in the 1st place? as i have a theory on the data encryption problem.
if it's possible can someone send me the mail apk for 3.6.x (the exchange mail might work with no data encryption for sd card with the old 3.6.x mail app)
the 6.0.3 mail app has the same problem for data encryption - i also just recieved reply from microsoft and my IT master admin and confirmed my policy only requires PIN only, hell i even got screen shots from server admin that dat encryption is not enabled on server policy.

If you mean the HTC mail app, that will not be possible. You can't move Sense apps from one Sense-version to another. If you mean android mail app, I don't know, but also think that you would run into trouble. You better use any market mail app. They are made to work with different android versions.

I went well over 3 days without charging and still had gas in the tank on mine with a Mugen 3600mah battery, but I thought it was just a fluke. Maybe not. Its like having one of these again (great phone):

thx jotha for reply, but how about if i already removed sense and installed shazlion's AOSP ICS theme whic also removes the sense htc maill "if am right".
would i still run into trouble? my main problem here is the data encryption for sd card policy which we do not have on server yet the app still enforcess it so it's either i encrypt storage card and cannot flash anything from recovery OR do not check the data encryption which deletes the sd card and live with 3rd party app like touch down and lose contact sync and company directory.
it's frustrating >.<
all am sure of is that the exchange server in my company 100% does not enforce data encryption.
thx again jotha - any further help would be much appreciated
