xt9 question

When I press space in xt9 mode, it auto complete for me instead of inserting a space. Is there a way to stop this?

alt.. space and turn off xT9

Thank you for the response, but that is not the answer I was hoping for. I already knew you could do that. I want to keep the xt9 mode on. I just don't want it to auto-insert when I hit the space key.

Ok, I figured it out. The enter key cancel the suggestion.

Or you can press the backspace key ("arrow" key to the left of the end call button).
