Im also having problems adding that line to build prop, i edit the file with root explorer, add that line at the end, save and reboot, but it doesnt work. In fact when i view/edit the build prop again, the line that i just added disapered! Do i need to put the line in a specifiq place or need to add something in the begining of the line? I have oficial rom 2.3.5 gingerbred rooted. Thanks from Madeira

Enable "HDR Mode" in the Camera Settings

Change:
Code:

ro.config.hw_camera_hdr=false

To:
Code:

ro.config.hw_camera_hdr=true

I could not find thatline so i added it myself.

Are you sure you did it right?

These are the steps:
1. Open root explorer and go to system / build.prop
2. Mount system r/w (upper right corner)
3. Long press on build.prop and select "open in text editor"
4. Go to the end of file and add this line:
Code:
ro.config.hwfeature_wakeupkey=1
(if it is already there just change 0 to 1)
5. Click MENU and SAVE!
6. If everything went alright then the old build.prop will be saved as build.prop.bak
7. Reboot

Its not that simple with the official 2.3 rom look here:
