I was fixing to suggest the same thing. Desire s users are having the same problem with the daemon. If deleting the daemon works for you guys. Post it so we know. Ok. Thanks.

I just tried deleting daemon. Will report back later to see if issue is resolved. Thank you!!! :)

You could just simply install a CPU tuning app like no frills, setcpu, etc. Installing one of those will disable the daemon. You can turn the daemon back on by deleting that CPU tuning app and rebooting.

just to let you guys know seems like setcpu cured the screen lag on affinity too. Definitely something going on with virtuous oc and sense 3.5 roms

I don't know. I use it on the inspire with no problems. But that's me. If deleting it works out then hell yeah. Problem solved
