Could you replace /system/lib libcamera.so and libcameraservice.so ?

use the files from CM7.

Maybe you have to replace /system/etc/mot_ise_imager_cfg.bin too.

Could you try this.

Download MS2Ginger 3.0 and restore system only.

http://ms2ginger.4shared.com

(MS2Ginger3.0-RTM.zip)

Go to bootmenu and change default boot from normal to 2nd-int. Did it boot?

If yes replace the libs only again.

Edit:

In bootmenu overclock increase vsel3 to 52-58 !!!

It won't boot.

What exactly do yo mean happened? Lots of activity at its defy page. Or is it just buggy? All the bugs listed on the defy page keep me from trying it. No point in using a buggy rom imho.

Buggy ROM? Some small problems like all custom roms. If you do not like to test a "buggy" rom flash the latest Motorola rom without root and downgrade and you have a stable rom. This rom is not designed to be a full blur rom and adding new language to a rom will make evertime some small problems. Over 5000 downloads of MS2Ginger 3.0 and only a few people help to fix the problems.
