I did try some of the alternate sites (e.g.: Opera.com) and I can download some applications but I cannot install any of these. Every time that I click on the downloaded app I get a pop-up window asking me if I want to use app installer or the package installer but any of these work.
I read the post #114 and wiped out my nook to factory setting again but when setting it up I cannot see any option asking me to allows to install unknown application, any workaround??
As I mentioned I didn't root my Nook and I was able to install applications from BN only ... a step by step guidance will be highly appreciated.

Hey, question, by chance are you trying app installer first each time? The reason i ask is because app installer does NOT work, and will prevent package installer from working after that. You will need to re-download the apps and open them with package installer FIRST to get them to work. It has to do with an archive feature of app installer that I believe then somehow makes the packages break with package installer.

I don't know about Zenonia, but Minecraft is a paid-for app, we can't re-distribute it. However, I downloaded it from the market and it works fine on my rooted nook.
