Probably (can't tell you the truth because app is obfuscated) tool checked a phone model number, not a manufacturer name. So you may ask Heathcliff74 to change this behavior.
@cinciopillo: Did you consider doing a search (on the forum or the Web in general) for "WP7 install xap" or similar?
Additionally, it has been reported multiple times already, in this thread (which has a search tool like every other), that the second-gen Samsung devices aren't currently supported. Samsung changed their drivers between the first and second generation of phones. This app is dependent on the drivers in the first-generation phones.
What about support for the light theme? I still can't use WP7 Root Tools on my Samsung Focus V1.3 when using the light theme - text isn't visible (I can see the folder icons, however).
