I answered your question "how can I install it". It's another question. Could you be more specific?

Probably (can't tell you the truth because app is obfuscated) tool checked a phone model number, not a manufacturer name. So you may ask Heathcliff74 to change this behavior.

People, please search the thread...

@cinciopillo: Did you consider doing a search (on the forum or the Web in general) for "WP7 install xap" or similar?

Additionally, it has been reported multiple times already, in this thread (which has a search tool like every other), that the second-gen Samsung devices aren't currently supported. Samsung changed their drivers between the first and second generation of phones. This app is dependent on the drivers in the first-generation phones.

Teaser!!

New version of WP7 Root Tools is nearing completion.

It **SHOULD** support these devices if they are Interop Unlocked:

- Samsung 1st generation
- Samsung 2nd generation
- LG
- HTC 1st generation with Mango v1 drivers
- HTC 1st generation with custom unlocked roms

Working hard on support for other devices too, but there's no way of telling which and when that will happen!

Ciao,
Heathcliff74

What about support for the light theme? I still can't use WP7 Root Tools on my Samsung Focus V1.3 when using the light theme - text isn't visible (I can see the folder icons, however).

Otherwise, it's great! Thank you, sir!

Are you sure you are using the latest version?

This is what the light theme looks on my Samsung Omnia 7:

Yeah.. 0.9 is not released.. It's a teaser (as in the title of that post). But 0.8 should be the same regarding the dark/light theme.
