Sometimes people can not reach me, even though my phone is on and has enough battery. When they call they get no signal/phone off message. Anyone else have this?

thx your patch works great for me.

now i am very satisfied with your ROM. i think for now it is the fastest and most stable with full feature-set. last weeks I used your ROM and i can not remember when i got the last unexpected reboot.

great work!!!


btw. if you want to improve something in this ROM, i have one suggestion: Androidlost does not recognize commands i send to my phone. maybe this can be solved easily, but it is not essential for daily usage.

It is easy, navigate to system/usr/keylayout with root explorer, mount as rw, long tap on handset.kl and open in txt editor, then change value, save and close.

...If you ever need to do something like by your self. :)

Btw, anybody use v6 sc script, what version? I try, update9 and not so happy, phone stop swapping, become lagy and slow.

Does anyone know how to get around the "menu key unlocks the lockscreen" thing?

it makes the rom unusable for me, I'm scared it's going to call every single person as soon as I put the phone in my pocket

Power key: You cant unlock the screen, just "call" a menu. Its normal, Joestone says, same on Nexus with factory ROM.

Menu key: selectable via CM settings, enable/disable unlock.

Settings -> Cyanogenmod Settings -> Lockscreen -> Lockscreen style -> pick one!
After that the phone only will turn on the screen if you press menu key.

Tried both ways, neither fixed it (the settings/CM settings/unlock settings/"unlock with menu button" does not do a thing...)

hey guys i know this maybe off topic but lately my brother and i both using gt540 me running utopia and him using this rom has been not able to connect to the home wifi, its always stuck at connecting and no matter how i try to get it to connect it does not. Under the word wifi it says connecting and under the SSID it says remembered and nothing else. this could either be the work of my father disabling something or just some major gt540 hardware bug well i dont know hope you guys can help me but my computer works fine
