Can you link me to it?

I used the MOTOACTV Root Tool to flash the boot.img and then root and install recovery

Default firmware update
Now after the latest root tool update, can we update to the latest firmware without the serial number error?

The latest update adds a working recovery. AFAIK it doesnt change much else. So prob not

anyone have an app or tricks they recommend for getting the lockscreen in the right view mode?doesnt matter what kind.ive been trying quite a bit and cant find one that works in the correct view mode which is landscapre i think.im currently using zeam launcher.

You need to install an app called "ultimate rotation control" to get all lockscreen and apps in any view you want, landscape, portrait, reverse landscape etc.
