I have had this as well on all the builds but I discovered a while ago that in my case it was caused by the charger (from my D1) and that when charged on USB through computer or the factory Samsung charger it goes to 100%.

Didn't even think about it until reading this post but my phone was also at 98% when I unplugged it this morning.

Just got GN and noticed that the stock battery would only charge to 99%. Swapped batteries with the GSII and same thing happened. Purchased the 2100 mAH extended battery over the weekend and the first time it charged to 100%. Last two charges, again it only went to 99%. However, I could unplug it and then plug it back in and then it would charge to 100%. Not sure what is going on. All on AOKP.

GNex has a over charge setting. Unless you pull it off the charger at 100% it'll discharge to 97% then back up-

Does it matter that when I install this rom I've always gotten something saying "Random Offset"? It's usually followed by some number.

I've been on this rom since build 22 and always got this, the rom is fine and haven't noticed any problems. Just curious.

Aokp + franco kernel = happiness and bliss

Recommend 16.2 for awesome battery life 18.4 and 18.5 for almost as good battery life as 16.2. I haven't had enough time with the new one yet which is 18.5, but it seems the same as 18.4.
