alright, 2.2.24 will be up tomorrow....it is rebased off of aerovan's latest cm9 (2-21-12) but voicesearch is a no-go still

voicesearch fixes for cm9 apparently require changes to the framework as well...and im not getting to that this week i dont think....perhaps in the future

Excellent question! I'm pretty sure I could. How would I backtrack to double check, other than restoring a backup? Is there someway I can change it with adb?

with a file explorer with root access, browse to /etc/init.d/, delete file 99killalldrmserver, and reboot

Will I be able to flash your new build that's coming out tomorrow (after wiping cache and Dalvik cache of course) right over the 2-17 MIUIau build that I'm currently running, or will I need to do a full wipe before flashing it?

I always recommend wiping data regardless of the situation.... but given the.huge changes under the hood week to week in miui I'd say its certainly a best practice

You might get lucky and get by without it...but I cannot guarantee that any issues that arise are from the build or not wiping data
