bugs reported:

I tried an OBEX File transfer over Bluetooth to my wife's phone after I flashed to 3.1.6 on mine. As soon as I start the "search..." it freezes up and I have to soft reset.
I tried using the "Beam.." in The File Explorer, or Send via Bluetooth with Total Commander with the same result.

Awesome.

Is the carrier cab the same as the one posted in 3.1.2?

no need to download a new one, correct?

Thanks! I have a question about backing up settings:
If I export my registry and turn in into a cab, under 3.1.2 then a run the cab on an updated version would I run into problems?

Thanks DCD!!

Impressions:
- Much quicker than the previous release
- Windows Live works (yay)
- Task Manager 2.1 update was not followed through in provxml (still reads x-button 2.0)

Well, I've held out since 3.04 and radio 3.27... I guess now is a good time to upgrade with these changes/fixes.

I'm a VZW XV6800 user; should I upgrade the radio or rom first?

edit- I can someone point me in the right direction on how a Verizon user needs to upgrade the radio to 3.49? I cant find the thread

not entirely shocked at much of the improvements.

19214? Hardly amazing since 19213 on 3.1.2, unless you can give me some info on anything important on this update. Otherwise id hold off till 3.2.x

i do need a break after this release. i wont be updating again for a little bit.

sorry if that sounded a bit off note, i didn't want to sound rude, but i just reflashed 3.1.2 and all my apps which toke me half a day to do. So i just dont feel entirely compelled to do this update. Otherwise I've always appreciated your work, amazing stuff.

And ill be taking a break to, ill wait as long as i need to for whatever other updates you have for us :D .

Side note- DCD, How are you so knowledgeable on making your own ROM and everything that evolves making it? were you a phone ROM Engineer at one point or something? Something Ive been itching to ask, and the right moment, seeing you've actually quoted something i wrote! i said to myself, w00t~ Chance!

Love ya DCD ^_^

1 more question, aside from Diamond sounds that i see you've included in 3.1.6, well we see more diamond additions later on, in the Kitchen?

This may be an stupid question, but does this ROM update the PRI and PRL? Looking at your "Device Information" screen capture I am out of date on both.

awesome

this is my first post here. I am an HTC noob ... Was initially putting off burning a "custom" ROM to my phone when I initially got the phone since all these warnings saying "may brick phone"... But the TELUS ROM sucked so bad I couldn't take anymore rebooting my device every few days and resynching my Windows Live every time I rebooted since it would bust each time (i use Live to manage my contacts)... So far this ROM looks good. Looks to be running quite fast.

All that to say, thanks DCD ... You have helped to make my phone a worthy purchase. Since using your ROM's, the only time I need to reboot my device is if my memory is getting low (memory leaks), and even that is not often. I even went ahead and donated a little sum to you for your work ( I have never done that before either).

Thanks again.
:)

Good to see another ROM from you dcd.

Take your break, you've earned it. Maybe by time you get back VZW will have released their update for the XV6800 for you to work with. :)

Download just finished, gonna be flashing in a few. I'll post about my results in a bit.
