Default [Q] compatibility Q: Sony PS Vita In-ear Headset w/ mic

Browsing my local Target last night I came across the PS Vita headsets, since my current earbud w/ mic just gave up the ghost I'm curious about these but my main concern is compatibility issues the mic might have.

The only reason I have the concern is because after checking out some of the reviews I see people aren't getting the mic to work with their iPhones and I don't know if it's an iPhone issue or a Sony issue (because they both love being oh-so proprietary).

If that's not an issue, the rest of the reviews make them seem like a really great buy for the price which works for me.

So the question: has anyone tried these out with their Androids yet? Was their any issues with the mic? If no one has, I might just pick them up over lunch and give them a try.

Update

got a pair and not only didn't the mic work but the stock music player would randomly start, sometimes immediately after I turned it on.

Damn you sony, damn you!

Hmmm .. I have a galaxy note and it actually worked on mine. I just purchased it earlier from Target too ($13~). Music Player plays it fine too.

However I might have to return it because I was stupid enough not to look if there is an answer button on the mic. Fail!

Anyway, it produces good sound on it though. Too bad you still have to pull out your phone, just to answer a call since there are no buttons.
