The ext4 support is needed by cyanogemmod, right? Just PM sakindia. He made a kernel for SGY with ext4 fs support.

I think you got to get the kernel source and pull config.gz

adb pull config.gz from where on the phone (if you don't mind me asking)? Or do you mean using the config.gz which came with the kernel source?

Kernel source, try this
adb pull /proc/config.gz , what you gonna do with that.

Its easy to mod ramdisk if the ext4 kernel is workin..!!
