I still have the old .odex file. But the problem seems to be the installation itself.

While hitting the .apk a installation dialouge appears. I confirm with OK - read something about "this is a system app". Then a new dialouge tells me that the installation was unsuccessful!

I have XXKI4. Does someone still have the stock camera.apk and camera.odex?

You have to copy the apk into /system/app/ with root explorer or a similar file manager

Of course I copied the .apk to system/app with a root explorer. It's not the first time I "changed" somethings.

It's just the first time that I cannot undo the original version :/

The new ICS leak (XXLPQ) does true stereo recording, can anyone port camera.apk to GB and make volume buttons to shoot pics?

Once again before doing any MOD BACKUP... maybe you will learn next time..
I shall upload files for you later, as Im not at lab now...

Does anyone know what values must be changed so we can mod the newer ICS camera.apk? I have XWLP7.

Why dont u use Camera ICS by mobilinx or something it has all the features

Similar values under sswitch something, I've got a modded xwlp7 apk if you want it?
