Feature list shows it as enabled but how do you configure it? Can you configure it for GV directly without having to go through PBXes?

Nandroid backup

I know Illuminated had put in the installation instructions "Don't do a Nandroid backup!!" -though with Corn kernel, as it is able to do a Nandroid backup, is it ok? i.e, if I were to flash another rom, then wanted to return to this one, could I reinstall Corn and restore with nandroid?

Originally Illuminance came installed with Samurai kernel and you couldn't do a Nandroid backup, but with the Corn kernel, you can. I switched to Fusion Rom, added some themes, did a revert which messed something up, so did a Nandroid restore from the Backup I'd done earlier. No problem, worked like it's supposed to. Thing is, I stayed on Corn (or a version of it) the whole time. If you switched to a different kernel or to a I9000 kernel, you might need to go a few steps more, like reinstalling Corn first then restoring.

Greetings! I was running Serendipity 7. Decided to try out Illuminance. To be sure I had a clean start I did (with BL) -

- Flash UCKJ3/UCKK2 Stock, (Recommended step because Illuminance is based on KJ3/KK2). You can use with or without BL depending on your phone's current config.
- Flash Boog's KJ3 Kernel to get CWM. Let it reboot, put Illuminance_v1.x.x.zip file on sdcard.
- Use 3-button combo OR adb to reboot in recovery, Flash Illuminance

But when I flash Illuminance, the progress bar for "Wiping data, system..." stalls after progressing about a quarter of the way. I've tried reset to factory, wipe cache, fix permissions, reinstall Stock and Boog, same result.

Any ideas?

If I try to flash S7_Build_3.zip, that stalls at "Formatting system..." with the progress bar about 95% complete. Phone is then unusable until a flash back to UCKJ3/UCKK2 Stock using ODIN.

I'm really like this rom and I really do want to try it, but my problem is whenever I open the link download from multiupload, it loads to ilivid download, even when I click Skip Ads it also turns to ilivid... please help me if I missed something in the post...

thank you so much by the way, I have spent much time flash many cooked roms, but they all heat up cappy (except Stock rom). I just used 2.3.5 Legend Rom and the result are the same. Therefore, I put so much hope on Illuminance, hope it will be the right one
