I just glanced at my plan to confirm the recent change, and the status bar is gone. Earlier today I was at 27% of 2g, is this the elusive "UNLIMITED" data plan that's only recounted in decades old folklore?!?
There's no possible way I can drop 80g of data...or CAN I???
No, the answer is no.

Is this a technical typo?

It can't be accurate.

You are unlimited... However, you will be throttled once you hit 2GB, 5GB, or 10GB of data, depending on how much you pay for data

It was deceiving without the progress bar, and the 0% that were there previously.
The thing was a nagging reminder of the overlord position T-Mobile created, and filled.
Now the usage is in parentheses, which looks different from the previous.

I'm at 1.7g, the 0% hasn't moved...it used to.
I assume your activity screen layout resembles mine?
I haven't initiated an update, maybe T-Mobile did it from the collective hive.

resistance is futile.

Mine looks almost identical, down to the amount of data used... Lol yeah that's how it looks. It says 0% because technically you can't use 1% of unlimited. And they are deceiving the normal users who think that they see that so are unlimited. Even when you hit your throttled threshold, it will still say 0% (after the my account app takes 3 min to load on 2g speeds... Ugh)

SORCERY!!!

lol.

I caught them throttling me at 4.67g while on my previous 5g contract, $5 was deducted from my next billing cycle.
That was the day I realized that a faceless corporation, holding my attention like a dog to a new bone, might not have my back...

I do love this phone, I will probably keep it into my next contract.

The camera burst, with dedicated button is all I needed...the rest is bonus.
I can't relate to the sense hate, why buy it and then demand change from people who donate free ROMS.
Excited and anxious is one thing, thread after thread of childlike impatience is odd behavior.

Don't get me started on the ICS "debacle".

Agreed... I think this may be my last 2 yr contract I sign up for with tmous. I am very happy with my Amaze, and my wife and son will be fine forever with the MT4Gs they own. I'm probably gonna wait this contract out, and switch to Sprint or AT&T. The main reason I've stuck with tmo is because they treat their loyal (5yr+) customers very well. But now, instead I keep having to be transferred to loyalty dept to complain or get what I need done. That's unacceptable, and if they are going to treat customers as bad as they are, then I feel I am no longer needed as a customer.

I agree with you about everything. Why buy a phone if you don't want what it has to offer? If you buy a car with cloth seats, do u complain that nobody is putting leather in your car but newer cars are getting it?
