Does anybody know how to turn off 3d effect on sense 3.6 (ics)?

For anyone who doesnt know, the timezone error happens on the stock Telstra Velocity rom, so any rom's based on that will have the timezone error


have you tried editing the same db from this thread and changing the 1 to a 0?

cant modify 3d-home record, DB is locked, worked fine before I installed ICS - any hints?

I too get a DB is locked error when trying to change the value from 0 to 1

Fixed
-copy /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/dtabases/settings.db to sdcard
-open it (the copied db file on the sdcard) with an sqlite editor and modify relevant record - save
-copy file back to where it came from (overwrite existing)
-reboot into recovery, fix permisssions - DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP!
-or you can modify perms in a terminal, if you know what they are

enjoy!

Tried that but didn`t work, when you copy it back it return to its original
