You won't feel a difference using PowerAmp because it uses its own engine.

Definately sounds louder, most music does sound better, some sounds distorted or muddy not sure how to describe it. It would be great if there was a way to toggle it on/off.

After doing some more tests in absolute quiet environment, I have to admit, I don't hear any difference. Wheather I use the headphones or listen through the speaker, the volume is not any louder and music does not sound clearer or something.

... :/

Yea I'm not an audiophile or anything so it could just be a placebo effect. I should revert back to my nandroid and compare the same song.

Just a tip i found. Couldn't get my headphone jack to work for the longest time. Found a thread about straightening out a small paperclip and turning the phone upside down while fishing around (I made a little hook at the end of mine) and sure enough, a piece of pocket lint fell out. Workz 100% now. Give it a try hope it helps others.

sounds great, some songs i cant tell if there is much of a difference but they are all poor quality songs to begin with. Everything else is tip top! Using Bose IE2 ear buds not sure that matters or not
