ya of course, LA6 is non rootable

New superuser application developed by CF

with possibly Pro version can keep superuser intact during OTA. though CF not sure.

my brothers sgn is not rooted and im helping him root his phone,so can you please check if this is correct. my brothers sgn kernel is LA1 so 1st we need to do is download any old(im planning kj1) which is directly rootable from post 1 then flash it via odin

-is the old rom already rooted with isecure kernel or after downgrading to old rom we still need to root it via zergrush to get root and also flash insecure kernel inorder to have custom CWM recovery?

already have little flashing exp but with sgs2 and would appriciate any help

In this case can i upgrade using the windows Odin. And will i have my new version rooted also or i will lose the root.

Another question.

If I flash the cf-kernal does this mean that i will increase the binary counter

If you flash any older ROM from main post, you will have to root it again with zergrush, as well you have to get CWM too.
There is guide available, you can download it from last link on my signature. If you use that guide n select i have non rootable ROM, it will guide you to get older ROM, which is pre rooted. (remember there is multiupload/hotfile/mediafire links available, but only mediafire is active)

- You will lose Root
- If you flash Cf-Kernel with PC odin, it will. But if you use initial root flasher/Mobile Odin, It won't.
