tried to update as much as 2 times ...

i blv the 3.4.4 & earlier updates were not official.. but 3.4.6 & 3.6.7 are official market updates.

Heh, Just checked the version number its 3.4.7, Didnt even notice it changed to google play before.

All right, replacing market apk in data/app messes up with whole bunch of things and it's a no go. Proper and simple way to upgrade market (from unofficial version) is to clear market data, cache, uninstall market updates, wipe cache, dalvik cache. Market will update automatically. Still some apps may disappear (from app drawer), but it's nothing serious.
