Hello All! I, Captain Happy Pants, Present to you:

HAPPY TRAILS




What this ROM is:
Rooted (Superuser/Busybox)
Debloated
Desensed
Slightly Themed (Jdk/Nocoast/UOT Kitchen)
Tweaked
Base 2.11.605.9 (Jrocker23)
AOSP Launcher2 and Lockscreen for now...

What this ROM isn't:
Something really creative. A good portion of the theme came from JDK/Nocoast's ROM, and the UOT.
Fully tested. I whipped this up in about 2 days.
Completed. I will be working on this in my spare time.
Custom kernel-ified. Uses the stock HTC kernel.

Flash this ^^ in recovery.

CHANGELOG IN POST 3

Flash as you would any other ROM, wipe chache and dalvik, if something doesn't work try a clean install, you know the drill by now.
I'm not accountable for anything you did to your phone, you chose to flash it, not me.


To set up a google account, go to the market.

CHANGELOG:

v1:
-initial release (my first rom EVAR!!!)

v2:
-replaced some stuff with AOSP (Calendar, Calculator, Clock)
-removed recent apps
-removed GPS reticle and USB debugging icon
-added 6 bar signal
-added reboot menu
-added back a couple useful things I deleted... woops
-changed build.prop to show my ROM's name as opposed to Jrocker23's
-uhhhhhhhh, maybe some other stuff that I can't think of.

v2.6:
-revert to HTC calendar (it works)
-revert to 4 bar signal (6 bar was incorrect)
-removed a couple unnecessary apps.

Nice ROM, but missing google talk, where can I get it?

Hmmmmm. I'm having trouble finding what apk was google talk. I will add it in as quickly as possible, I have another update coming soon.

EDIT: FOUND IT! And now I'm uploading v2 right now.

Awesome! Thanks, this ROM really is awesome. For anyone looking for a minimalist install, I'd recommend this... it certainly takes a bit longer to get everything back if you're not using titanium backup, but its worth it.

And thank you for trying my ROM! Does it seem to you or anyone else like the 6 bar signal mod is working? The most bars I've gotten is 3 and I wanna know if I messed something up or not.

I only see 4 bars, right now I have 3 for signal strength. On a side note I noticed that the alarm clock is missing any chance you could upload a fix?

Other than that ROM is on point at 75% battery, been off the charger for 6hrs, standard email/im usage.

If you go to the current clock app there should be an alarm clock in the bottom left.

I don't have a clock app, goes from "Car Home" to "Connected Media" is it under something else?
