Did you make your own patch, or try using a prebuilt?

thanks HoochieCoo for your kind reply, but it's not possible... i'm not using custom rom!
i'm using my original stock rom (obviously deodexed etc....) and no zip file is provided for that... (actually, neither an odin file of my original stock rom, neither on sammobile...)

so, again, i ask for some help for my problem using patcher (more specific: making a single zip file of my rom).
i have samsung i9001 and cwm (ported to my device: called feamod, based on CWM recovery 5.5.0.4, the only available for my device)
my cwm does NOT create a nandroid ZIP file of the rom.

it creates a bakup folder with all the following files inside:
boot.img
cache.ext4.tar
data.ext4.tar
nandroid.md5
recovery.img
system.ext4.tar
(i tried to manually create a zip file, without using compression, of all the files in the backup folder, but pdroid patcher returns the messahe "not a valid nandroid backup")

how to create the zip file of my rom, to use with pdroid patcher?
thanks everybody in advance!!!!

custom rom zip is pretty simple. it is a zip file of your system + kernel + script. just download one, unzip it and take a look. it looks like
Code:
boot.img
META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script
META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary
system/framework/framework.jar
system/framework/services.jar
system/framework/core.jar
system/app
<and many more...>
bold part is what pdroid patcher needs to change + update.
i think updater-script can be as simple as
Code:
run_program("/sbin/busybox", "mount", "/system");
package_extract_dir("system", "/system");
unmount("/system");
edit: on a second thought, TitaniumBackup app can generate update.zip which you should be able to use it to patch (i guess... )

many many many MANY thanks!!!
now i have my pdroid installed!!!!!!!!!

unpacked folder "system" and all subfolders from my system.ext4.tar file
create zip file with that folder
extracted folder "meta-inf" from another cwm zip file
edited updater-script file with your script
added that folder to zip file

...and patcher recognised my rom and created my patch!
(the log said that patcher did't recognise the updater-script file and replaced it with a default script... sorry i forgot to copy/paste the log...)

already installed the patch and pdroid apk, and now i'm configuring it

so thanks again pastime1971 (and again... and again...)

Try making your own. The attached patches won't (usually) work if you're using a different build from what that version is, and being that you're on these forums there's a good chance you're using a nightly CM or some such variant on the original ROM used to make that patch...

If I resigned my Rom for Toggle 2G, do I have to patch the resigned Rom files or can I use the original ones? Have deleted the resigned files..

EDIT: ..found!
