I have noticed with the HC roms that there is a strange lag buildup with the browser. It is almost as if there is a caching error somewhere.

When loading a webpage in any browser, it will load about 75 of the way very quickly, then just sort of hang for 5 seconds and finally the entire webpage renders. It gets worse as time goes by.

Is this a caching issue? Is there a way to make the browser load as the page loads instead of waiting for it to load completely before rendering. I'd prefer the area I am looking at to render as soon as it loads then the rest load in the background.

Firstly, I love this rom & appreciate the viper effect & efforts.
I keep trying to like HoneyComb, flashed a few diff roms & I hate it.
Don't like the bar hogging my screen... Miss the hardware buttons, etc.
So I have again returned to Viper GB, which is where I wanna be anyways.

My view runs great on Viper, but I too experience random reboots.
Sometimes I am on website, sometimes while on standby.
The 1st time I flashed from bulletproof .4 to Viper this time
I tried a clean flash after KRocksman tool flashback to GB S-Off from HC
& worked fine for approx 6 hours then random reboot & bootloops.
In my case tho, I can hold power button to turn off then boot back in without reflashing.

Wondering if there is a newer version than V1?
I downloaded from viper website & flashed zip from clockwork.
Is that diff version than the viperrom tool would download/flash?

I am.sticking with GingerBread & hoping to skip HC & eventually go direct to ICS


can't find any tweaks or.developer settings in the rom anywhere
if anyone can offer any tips I would appreciate

Put me down as another that would appreciate this rom's features in a HC rom.

Guys, Viperboy only builds roms from RUUs. He has explicitly said this. If you find an RUU for HC please PM him and see if he'll build.

There is an HC RUU, I just never built one for it because people were complaining about HC.
