So Im on stock kernel now with stock rom so Im SAFE to install Calkulin's E4GT v2.9.2 rom correct? Thats a modded stock barebones gingerbread rom.
If you have a GB recovery installed, you can install an ICS ROM from CWM by:
1) dl the ROM and Modem, and saving it to your sd card or internal memory.
2) dl Calkulin's Format All zip and save it
3) boot into Recovery, and Flash the Format All.
4) Flash the ICS ROM
5) Flash the ICS Modem
Do 3,4 and 5 in the same session, Because you will lose CWM Recovery, and now have ICS Stock Recovery.
6) Restart your device.

Remember to back up everything important, and make a Nandroid backup before hand.

It's ok to flash ICS Roms from a GB Recovery.
You can then install a repacked ICS Kernel/Recovery w/ CWM by Steady Hawkin via ODIN if you want.

Well...if you're on a stock EL29 setup and wanting to flash to another Gingerbread rom, you shouldn't be looking in this thread at all. This rogue kernel is ICS only. Just use any GB kernel with recovery and flash to your heart's content.
