[Q] Calling not working on AOKP IceColdSandwich 5.5

I recently installed IceColdSandwich 5.5 on my Incredible S. I was using Virtuous Quattro RC3 since quite some time and was happy with it.

After installing the IceColdSandwich, I noticed that my signal levels are unusually low and I am not able to make calls. Any outgoing call just drops with a 'beep beep' sound. I reboot my device and the signal level shows about 2-3 bars with the 'H' (3G data).

I can make calls for some time, but then after about an hour of going into and from no-signal areas, it again conks out. I love the stability of Quattro in this regard as even if there are no-signal zones, once I am outside, it immediately latches on the network and 3G data (this used to NOT work with Virtous Unity, Affinity and other GB based ROMS that I have tried out).

anyone else faced this problem ? I am about to install IceColdSandwich 6.1.1 - hopefully, it is more stable than 5.5...

Are the all toggles working on your phone.I installed 6.1.1 recently.
When i enabled the all toggles just wifi, wifi hotspot,2G,GPS and BT toggle shows up.

Wifi Hotspot and 2G toggle ??..Really ??.
On IceCold Sandwich ??.. I have installed 6.1.1 today but not got any of these toggles.

Are you sure you have seen 2G and WiFi Hotspot toggle in this ROM ??

My default language is Turkish.When i change system language Turkish to English (United States) all toggles are showed up and run smoothly.But when i opened the Enabled Toggles menu, it's not showing the 2G,Torch,Swagger.And some toggle names are Turkish despite the English language.

Because of my post count, I can't post this bugs to IceColdSandwich thread.

Uninstalled the ROM :(

After using the IceColdSandwich 6.1.1 ROM for a few days, I had to uninstall it.

The main reason is that the radio seems to be glitchy. I lose the "H" (3G) symbol very often. Sometimes, it shows full signal strength, but it's actually stuck there i.e. no calls can be made or answered. I have no choice but to switch on airplane mode and then switch it off. Or worst-case, reboot the phone.

I am now back to Virtuous Quattro RC3. At least the "phone" feature works

I'm now using IceColdSandwich 5.5 with the radio 20.4802.30.0822P_3822.10.08.28_M and there is no problem - nither with calling nor with mobile internet (H or E).
It works fine and i want to install version 6.1 today.
Maybe you have to update your radio!
