Cleared cache
wiped erase default

and so on

Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0 U.S. 8GB.pit
Samsung YP-G1 Internationnal (HK Version) 8GB.pit
G1XXKE1-REV01-PDA-low-CL1001844.tar.md5
G1XXKE1-REV01-NFS-CL1001844_HOME.tar.md5

I flashed 10pcs with G1XXKE1-REV01-PDA-low-CL1001844.tar.md5

Everything works great

But the one that got bricked, digitizer now is responding in opposite..

You guys are running the wrong bootloaders or kernel. the digitizer is initialized by SBL and Kernel. You need to use a ROM made for your device.

to restore the one that you bricked, You will need to have the firmware you downloaded from samfirmware (2.2) you will need the .pit file (HK one) and flash it with odin (CHECK REPARTITION IT'S IMPORTANT). It should work.

This is not the place to post requests for firmware. this is just a place to grab a PIT file when you need one. If a developer wishes to release a firmware, they can use this as a tool to ensure completeness. DO NOT ASK FOR FIRMWARES HERE!

Will the korean 16gig work on my international? It doesn't say "international" or "US" on either 4.0 and 5.0 16gig versions

Unless you want to brick your device go for it. Can you not see a "Galaxy Player 4.0 International 8gig" or "Galaxy Player 5.0 International 8gig" at the front of the page? Please search this thread before asking questions that can be answered when you read it. Don't use any files intended for another device.

I ran into problems with 8g versus 16g partition tables because the 8gig won't work on the 16gig and vice versa. We need a master list of PIT files. This is that master list.

International is the standard version. Because of copyright problems, US versions may be different.
PARTITION TABLES
Galaxy player 4.0 16gig thanks some korean site.
Galaxy Player 4.0 US 8gig thanks hyperrunner
Galaxy Player 4.0 International 8gig thanks zaclimon

Galaxy Player 5.0 16gig thanks ishish9
Galaxy Player 5.0 US 8gig thanks redpirate8
Galaxy Player 5.0 International 8gig thanks aillez

Please post your partition table and I will link it in the above. If you have one which is not in the list, let me know.

How to obtain your partition table

  1. Download Heimdall Suite here: http://www.glassechidna.com.au/products/heimdall/
  2. Open "heimdall-frontend"
  3. if you encounter errors in windows, you need to install the zadig libusb driver. Remember to "show all" from the menu in the program.
  4. Put your device in Download mode
  5. Click the Utilities tab
  6. select an output filename. The file should always end with a "pit" I'd recommend something descriptive. eg..
    GalaxyPlayer4.0-16G.pit, or G70-GalaxyPlayer5.0-8gig.pit
  7. upload that file to http://mediafire.com
I recommend Mediafire because they have no distracting adds, no 50 second wait time, no signup, and everything is straight forward as opposed to 99% of the other file hosting sites.
  8. post the mediafire link here in the forum
