Just flash the corresponding .KDZ again.

Hmmm, scratch that, doesn't work, I tried it before. Or does it, can't remember.

You can update using SmartFlash or the official LG Web Update whether you're rooted or not, whether you have CWM or not, hell, even if you have a custom rom installed you should be able to update using the Web Update tool.

Yes this the same error i get too,

Does gingerbreak or superoneclick get round this as superoneclick 2.2.3 fails too.

Any assistance would be great as I can't stand stock version, only upgraded to get GB but now cant root.

Factory reset your phone to fix the "run-as: Package 'com.ti.fmrxapp' is unknown" error.

Remove su from /system/bin and/or /system/xbin and Superuser.apk from /system/apps
I've rooted my O3D while I still have the stock 21D rom and the stock recovery (not CWM).

If I make a factory reset (from the Android menu or the stock recovery) will it unroot the phone? Is this a safe way to unroot the phone or should I unroot it with the quoted method?

I don't think it will unroot the phone since factory reset wipes data only. As for stock recovery, I'm not too sure if it will unroot or not. CWM will not unroot since it also wipes data only.

Thanks for the fast reply. So a safe way to unroot the phone is to remove su from /system/bin and/or /system/xbin and Superuser.apk from /system/apps? Or is it even more safe to unroot it by just flashing again the 21D rom using the LG Update tool?

I think removing the files is sufficient even for warranty repair. Of course, remove any apps that require root as well if you were to send your phone for warranty service.

How long should the process take to complete? Mine just seems to hang. running the 20p version. Really REALLY regretting updating my thrill. And have no way of backing it back out to FROYO :(
