Yes it is lol.. Umm, well, i think i'll stick with my value. Reread the stock ADJ value and the stock value actually shows that the Visible app is higher in ADJ then Perceptible app. So i think i'll test it further.
If you have supercharger entries, 3GTC shouldn't write any of the buffersize stuff... only the usual ro.ril entries.
I think if you additionally delete the following it should work:
net.ppp0.dns1=8.8.8.8
net.ppp0.dns2=8.8.4.4
So you would only have:
net.dns1=8.8.8.8
net.dns2=8.8.4.4
net.rmnet0.dns1=8.8.8.8
net.rmnet0.dns2=8.8.4.4
I don't think the buffersizes would effect wifi or bt at all tho but I can be wrong.
Im having problems connecting to wifi after running latest update..please help
@lofty5
Well I've never had to do that myself but:
1. Make sure you have the latest smali/baksmai
2. Try using services.jar instead of services.odex in the command. I recall that actually worked for somebody.
3. If that doesn't work either, you will probably need to put ALL the files from the framework folder in the same folder that you're working from.
If so, it will probably be easier to just copy the smali/baksmali/services files to the framework folder and work from there.Try latest 3GTC RC7
Fix permissions usually fixed FCs. Re-installing the app works too.
And don't forget, a correct recompiled file will be on the same size (or bigger) with the original. if it is smaller by more than 1%, it is the sign of incorrect odex result file.If you have the latest versions of smali/baksmali then that's a sure sign that you need the entire framework to decompile and recompile.

Hasn't really been an issue since most reports indicate fewer reboots.
Does it say something about a memory app of questionable integrity etc.?Hi, thanks to your work my phone's snappy.
Currently using your V6 supecharger 8, KAK and 3gturbocharger on stock GB 2.3.4 with update from TEAM Stock xperia rom.
Tried updating to v6update9_RC7. unsupercharged, unkernelized, reboot and cleaned dalvik cache. When i select an option to tweak my settings i get an incompatibility error.
but nonetheless your current scripts are working great. Thanks again.
Just remember that a lower ADJ number means it's more important and less likely to get killed.Yes it is lol.. Umm, well, i think i'll stick with my value. Reread the stock ADJ value and the stock value actually shows that the Visible app is higher in ADJ then Perceptible app. So i think i'll test it further.
Works fine just don't do LMK addon.Will this work along with Thunderbolt ?
EDIT: Modified Sevices.jar caused my phone a bit laggy at reboots :|
I need to get this straight. If you delete all the dns entries it works right?Actually what I did was removing all the dns lines and keeping only buffer ones: BT and wifi weren't working as they should. Removing all buffer lines definitely helped... But I agree with you that it seems a bit weird!

I hoped that you'd chime inIf you have the latest versions of smali/baksmali then that's a sure sign that you need the entire framework to decompile and recompile.
ooo there's an app for that https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stericson.permissionfix
Yeah it's odd. On some roms, sometimes system settings don't stick, but then they suddenly will - perhaps after a reboot.First of all thanks for a great script. I find my phone running much smoother now. But I have this problem with my swiftkey keyboard. Since I first used the script my keyboard settings ends up to Samsung keyboard every time I clear memory. Anyone who might know why and how to fix it?
/thanks again for a great script! :thumbup:
That's actually the direct opposite of most reports.When I used it a long time ago I had quite a few wakelocks as a result (higher battery drain). I haven't used it since then because my phone doesn't really need it, but I will try it again later.
Press the Enter Key... and Come Get Some!!

Oh that's why im searching for other easy to access task managers, because my hardware button is a bit broken, it can respond to my press but sometimes it double presses when i just pressed it once. The problem arised when the warranty of the phone was already finished. Haha.

Now copy /sdcard/services.odex to /system/framework and overwrite the original (backed up, yes?) services.odexCreate a new services.odex file from the new services.jar file:
In terminal, type: cd /sdcard, enter, dexopt-wrapper services.jar services.odex $BOOTCLASSPATH, enter.
Here's the "special sauce": copy over the "signature" from the current .odex file into the new .odex file. do NOT continue until this command succeeds!
Hint: the file size of the new services.odex file should not change!
In terminal, type: busybox dd if=/system/framework/services.odex of=/sdcard/services.odex bs=1 count=20 skip=52 seek=52 conv=notrunc
