Hi there,
this app is looking greate but because of 150 pages, I want to ask a question, which was possbible already answered.
As I have a canon 30D, which is not supporting the eyefi card, so I want to know if it whould be possbile to use an android phone, with this app for getting the images shooted by camera to the phone so that the phone can transfere them by wlan/bluetooth to a tablet for example?
...snip...Silent shooting is now also supported, but note that this feature has to be enabled both in the software as well as in your camera's liveview configuration. Silent shooting already worked during liveview if configured on your camera, but will now (if also configured in the software) also work during HDR/AEB, timelapse, and (in the future) bramping. Silent shooting is not present/supported on all models; it locks the mirror in position, reducing vibrations. Note that it also disables strobes!
Silent Shoot, when enabled via the DSLR, will only disable non-Canon strobes and speedlights. Even when using Canon speedlights, Silent Shoot is disabled by default if the DSLR detects a speedlight. When used with continuous lighting it significantly reduces mechanical induced vibration .i.e. the first curtain is electronic, not mechanical, so there is no mirror slap, etc.
Would it be possible to program a 'Live View monitor only' mode into the app which would then permit camera control via other equipment?
When the app is controlling the DSLR via the USB port, the camera will not respond to commands from other equipment such as a remote shutter release cable or devices such as the StackShot made by Cognisys.

This is not something DSLR Controller does, this is something the camera decided. Some models allow full control as usual, others require the LCD on the camera to be on as well. I'm not sure if that applies to external devices, though. But yeah, I'd try turning on the display on the camera while using DSLR Controller, and see if that allows you to use those devices.
I AM ON VACATION
I know, I still had lots of PMs and emails to answer, problems to debug, features to implement, updates to release, people to help, etc, but it'll just have to wait. But do not despair, I will return soon to procrastinate some more.
Is there an option to toggle Image Review - follow shot ON/OFF? A similar option can be found in the Canon 50D menu.
I use the DSLR and app for focus stacking and would like to bypass the processing of Review Images after each exposure.
You can turn image review off under options (cogwheel, bottom right), yes.

I can't find any option to 'turn off image review', only:
Follow Shot
Fullscreen Mode
Info Mode
Am I looking in the right menu option?

Maybe I'm not understanding correctly what you want, but in the main menu (before you press follow shot) there's an option to turn off "Review images after capture".
Could you explain in more detail what you are doing and what you want to happen ?

Any chance you could elaborate on this? What part of the build would affect the DSLR app? Just trying to get my head around the (many) different firmwares available for my tablet.
