Yes, i followed the development of the Android on Vogue and then on Kaiser since the beginning (or at least I red everything on the subject).
Before I had no problems with the display but I was stuck at the red light step. Now Android seems to work, but the display isn't working anymore... No Luck !

I have a Kaiser, and have no problem booting. The best solution I've come up with so far is to run a few applications before you run Haret.exe. I'm not sure if it is a Haret issue, a memory allocation issue or something totally random, but it always boots if I start a few applications first.

The best news is that I got Android to start applications!
I even got basic navigation, though the keyboard mapping is way off, and I have not had the time to figure out the correct keymapping yet.

I have to isolate exactly what modification to the initrd-android file that resultet in the applications to run (I messed around quite a bit), but I used the Touch Cruise zdimage posted in the "Linux and Android for Vogue" thread @ xda-developers, and the newest initrd-android from Martin - located here: http://it029000.massey.ac.nz/vogue/

If you decompress the initrd-android image, there is a file "/etc/init.rc" you could play around with, which is what I did.

I may also suggest to change this line in default.txt posted by Martin:
set cmdline "rw quiet"
to
set cmdline "rw verbose qemu=0"

Qemu, as far as I've been able to determine, is only used for when running the Android emulator on a desktop.

and the approx. sixth line in "/etc/init.rc" in the initrd-android image from:
ANDROID_BOOTLOGO 1
to
ANDROID_BOOTLOGO 0

This way you will perhaps get more debug messages to work with.

In the file "/etc/init.rc" there is also a service named "zygote" that apparently functions as a launch service for the UI.
However, some report that disabling this service causes an instant reboot...

That's it for now...
How do you unzip the initrd-android image?
