I like CM7/CM9 and MIUI Roms the best.

would u say the miui rom you're using with the kernel and modem combo works well?

"Rom: Latest MIUI
kernel: Platypus Neo18-1 didle Voodoo Color
radio: I9000BVJJW2
build #: 1008"

Does it lag at all? I'm just sick of trying all these different roms and not finding one that suits me -_-
I would just like to find a good combination that is fast and stable with decent battery life and connection. Thank you

Works great! Miui.US version 2.1.20, stock kernel. I usually uninstall a few system apps like;Telocation Provider, Talk, Voice Dialer etc..., the best battery life I've found on any rom is Team- Hacksung's CM9.

Anyone in Long Island or NYC using an i897 modem that works well? After flashing the lates Corn kerner for my fasty kk4 rom, I wasn't very happy witht he call quality, gps, etc.... I am trying out the kb1 modem atm since i read good stuff about it...but I seem to be getting HORRIBLE d/l and u/l...i mean Speedtest is giving me 350kb down and 120 kb up at this point....gps is GREAT but these 3g speeds are murder....
so please if you have tried any other modems in the NYC area please please let me know!
Thank you!
