Entropy your ice_kernel IS CWM flashable. I just made a CWM zip of it to try it out. Will continue to test it out. Great work.
Update: I cannot seem to get the image to work when sticking it inside a Rom, then ripping the Rom, putting on sdcard, then flash in recovery and it seems to flash fine but just sits at the Samsung screen. Will keep trying or wait for your next version. So basically I ended up flashing the Rom with Fennys kernel inside and it will boot up, then flash the cam zip I made of your kernel and it will apply. I also made a nandroid backup with Entropy kernel inside and it will restore. Just thought maybe this info will help anyone figure out things. I hope at least.

Ok.... After running ics last night for 1.5 hours...i restarted and stuck on galaxy black page(first boot screen). computer will not reconize in that scree. Or if in download mode. Odin not recognize.... Usb drivers(specific) in. I have sdk updates running(platform) so guess got some kind soft brick. What up....what's the game for this? wish was home or work right now

Jig is the only way.
Iphone 3G > T-Mobile G1 > Samsung Captivate > Samsung Focus > Samsung Galaxy SII> Nokia Lumia 920 > HTC 8X > Sony Xperia ZL
...and a bunch of other phones in between
I had enough problems with my previous deodex/debloat job that I'm going and redoing from start, so that should let me debug any weird installation issues.
I went into sdk..... ran USB and parced driver to one hub....so now that hub is dedicated to sgs2. Ran entropy dd... all good. Popped my brick cherry. Lol

Thanks Entropy. I am confused as to why I can get it to flash in a cwm kernel flasher but not when put inside a Rom. Weird. I made sure I used the exact same z-image for both. On the full Rom i can flash it fine with zimage inside, then if ALL I changed was putting your zimage without changing anything else then it either stays at the Samsung screen or goes to a black screen but it is backlit as I can see if in the dark.

OK, here we go, another release. This is likely the final test image before I release Daily Driver, and also probably Hellraiser.
This allows in-call audio to work without any noise reduction hacks. It does so by remapping the ADC0[0] and ADC0[1] channels in the sound driver, as they seem to be swapped.
I've also had no problems flashing recent kernels in CWM, however I use the way described in the Sh1tROM guide, not the way dsixda will set it up (using an additional flash_image binary). In addition, I've been flashing from CWM 5.5.0.4, which is included in this image.
No patches this time, as everything has been pushed to github.

Thanks Entropy. Will start testing it.
Put it into a cwm flashable zip and it flashed. Zipping it into a Rom now. Will update once I flash it.
Edit again. HOLY HELL BATMAN. THIS KERNEL F-ING MOVES. MY PHONE HAS GROWN WINGS. NO NEED FOR RED BULL. GREAT F-ING JOB ENTROPY.
