Of course, no problem, but keep in mind that custom tune2fs parameters are only available for formatting sd-ext at the moment.
Are you using sd-ext?

What version of CWM is 4EXT Recovery Touch v1.0.0.4 RC 1 based on? I'm thinking of finally upgrading from classic now that the speed has improved.

4EXT Recovery Touch is based solely on 4EXT recovery Classic

And when "Classic" first started, it was based on CWMR4 back in June 2011

Hi madmaxx82

I've just got on my phone the message to try your new release and ... wow!! The feature i was expected is there: Format System in Zip install from sdcard Menu!

Of course, i've tried the option immediately and ... wonderful! Now I can flash the daily test builds of IceColdSandwich DHD without manually start in recovery. All what i need can be set in Zip Installation menu

THANK YOU very very much!

When wiping and formatting should you do it in 4ext or 3ext for Roms?

It depends on which ROM you are using.

New version: 1.0.0.5 RC2 ( currently testing build 42 )

Parts of the changelog:
  • Backup folder creation time does now match the configured time zone
  • Using Recovery Control to queue up actions for recovery without choosing to "stay inside recovery" will now result in a countdown once all actions are completed.
During 5 seconds you can cancel the reboot to stay in recovery mode.
