Perhaps he original battery was defective *shrug* I'm really not sure how they stuff more juice in the same amount of space. Using the new battery with wifi/3g on and trillian and gmail syncing in the background, the phone will last 15 hours with regular use. Never tested with wifi/3g off and a lower screen brightness, perhaps it would last much longer. Still I've got the original battery with me as a backup.

That sounds about what I'd get. Gio battery is utter crap

Btw, how long battery life do you get with CM7?

A good battery life, I can do a half week with 1 battery, while my wifi is always on!

*If it helped you, hit Thanks*

Also a proud owner of the Gio, the only downside of it is the short batterylife.
I am running CM7.2 and I can go for 3-4 hours of constant use or 8-12 hours of normal use.

I am also considering a new battery.
