Tango won't fix this kind of things. There is a difference between OS and FW updates

FYI (source)

Microsoft’s Greg Sullivan finally confirmed that the Tango build for Window Phone is nothing more than “an engineering project”.

The only reason why Tango has been developed is so that low-end devices can be built and Windows Phone OEM manufacturers (like Nokia) can expand their market share to less developed markets while increasing Windows Phone awareness.

In short that means that Tango will be developed for models 700 and below, but not for Lumia 800. What will change our life is the release of WP 8, named Apollo late 2012.

Tango will run on high-end devices as well, because few API's are added
