Hi Guys,

have a question here... i had a T-Mobile G2 on my hand, from a friend... below is the info of the phone...

Android Version : 2.3.4
HBOOT : 0.82.0008
Microchip : 0425
Radio :
eMMC: boot
Apr 13 2011, 14:51:54

he wanna have Chinese on the phone, but unfortunately he does not able to find any Chinese Language under the settings...

What is the way for him to get Chinese Language on the phone...

I know i can S-Off and Root it... but how to change the H-Boot to DZ type... please advice...

Sorry for the trouble as i'm also a noob, my DZ has been root by other ppl... so i duno much to do the H-Boot changing...
Device : Xiaomi Mi3 and Hongmi 1s

Hopefully got some one who willing to explore custom ROM on XiaoMi device...

How to get Desire Z HBOOT on G2:

Judging from the HBOOT version, I guess the phone is unrooted,
You need to downgrade it first
then root it

Or, you can use the XDA wiki guide, which is the same thing

To have Chinese language in your phone, you can flash a Chinese ROM. I am not aware of any around here, but an excellent one you can try is
