hi,

I have dell xcd35, facing issue with Wifi connectivity, i'm not sure if its hardware or software issue.

these are the details in about page.

BB ver p729b01
kernel 2.632.9-perf//dell-kernel@zdroid-smt
froyo_p729dlv1.0.0B01

I bought this from a friend of mine, i'm not sure if its modded firmware/kernel or not, so i like to try original settings first.

So how to i install it without custom recovery install? what tools to use it to flash this?

From the details given, it seems ur running the stock rom and kernel. Therefore it must be a hardware issue

Go to the dell service centres. Tell them your issue. If its hardware they will probably replace the whole set so make a backup of all data. If its a software issue they'll sort it out then and there.

If your body is broken by you,you'd have to pay a small amount for it. Provided they have stock. I got my dell body replaced when I broke the screen and the plastic stuff around it recently. So yes.
