I have this problem with 0.24 Faux kernel @ 1 GHz, too.

So far, two users have the widgets problem and two users have not the widgets problem. Sounds strange, doesn't? :)

Thumbs up Release 1.1
1.1 release uploading now.

CHANGELOG:

- Switched to Faux123's 1.0 Ghz unified kernel with init.d support added by me
- Added 10 point multitouch mod
- Added ICS Fugu Tweaks
- Added TW4Launcher (rel. 22) modded by me for 960x540 resolution (very smooth and lightning FAST!)
- Added nano editor in /system/xbin
- Added terminfo support (look http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=552287 for details)
- Added database defrag and sqlite optimizations at boot time
- Added mount tweaks for maximum performance and stability

WARNINGS:
- First boot may take some time as all the databases are defragmented
- Some motorola widgets are not correctly displayed/resized due to the new (amazingly fast and lag-free) launcher

[EDIT]1.1 Uploaded: Enjoy!

Can any of you guys post a link to a CWM Flasheable Webtop I can download that is compatible with this rom?

Thank you. The ones I have found are either dead or are on RapidShare and take 18 years to download.

[EDIT]1.1 Uploaded: Enjoy!

Thanks for this! I am downloading it right now. Let's see if the widget problems disappear if I flash a Rom which already includes the desired kernel.

UPDATE: still having the "problem loading widget problem"

Have you already tried to fix permissions via CWM?

[edit] noticed you already tried it earlier. Ok, I will build an update with stock kernel ASAP....

I have got the base stock ROM in both sbf and fastboot formats. Shall I send you something?
