Well, I re-rooted, ran the unrevoked zip, and flashed the .29 radio again. so, I've got the ship s-off and it still won't flash a hercimg in hboot. Don't know why...its beyond me.

At least I learned a lot about fastboot, ruu's, and a few other tricks I didn't know about. So, it wasn't a complete waste of time.

Well that's the correct zip so Hummm??? What recovery are you running ??? Also what happens when you place the zip on your sd card and attempt to flash it ??? Also have you tried formatting your sd ??

Use a few different recoveries, but whenever i've tried this, its been with good old CWM 2.5.0.7. Basically nothing happens. I've got the HERCIMG.zip in /sdcard and when i go into HBOOT i see:

SD Checking...
..
..
Loading ... [HERCIMG.zip]
No Image!

I've formatted my sd card and tried just about everything else i can think of. However, when you say "format sdcard" the way I did it was formatting it in recovery. I assume that's a sufficient method?

Yup but also try this and see if it will help.

It's a good thread about cleaning your sd maybe it will help maybe not but a worth a shot.

Has to be something with the way you s-off'ed your hero. Have you tried reflashing the recovery?? Also what rom are you running ???
